Combined Entrance Test For B. Ed 2022 Two year B.Ed. and Shiksha Shastri Programme Nodal University: Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Kameshwaranagar, Darbhanga, Bihar.
For CET B.Ed-2022, the Application is to be filled online. Candidates are requested to go through the instructions given in this prospectus and on the website www.biharcetbed-lnmu.in For any shortcoming in eligibility, the candidate concerned will solely be responsible, and no plea will be admissible in this regard. Candidates must keep safely with themselves the printed/photocopy of the Online Application Form, Login ID, Registration Number etc. for future reference. These are not to be sent to Lalit Narayan Mithila University or anywhere else.
Candidates will be required to upload a copy of the marks sheet of Matric, Intermediate, graduation and Master (as the case may be) in jpg format at a specified space. They are advised to keep these documents with themselves at the time of filling up the form.
As identity proof, candidates will be required to mention their Aadhar Number/Voter ID Card No./Driving Licence No./Passport No. at the time of filling Application Form.
While filling up Application form entries in Gender, Domicile and Category should be made carefully. After Payment of fee, no change of any short can be made there in.
Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) and/orin the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanity/Commerce or Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible to appear in the admission test for the Two year B. Ed. Programme(CET-B.Ed.)
Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3) with Sanskrit (as the main subject)and Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/Archarya in traditional Sanskrit Shastra with 50% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible to appear in admission test for the Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed.)programme.
Shastri B.A. (Including Sanskrit Subject) with minimum 50% marks by recognized University or Examination Department with two-year course, Acharya (First Year) MA (Sanskrit) must pass examination (bridge Corse) for first year. In percentage determination Acharya First year or MA first year marks will not be helpful.
General Instructions for Online Application:
Name of Candidate: Fill in your full name as given in your certificate of High School or equivalent examinations. Don’t add any honorific title like Shree/Shreemati/Kumari/Sushree/Doctor etc. with your name.
Father’s Name: Fill in the name of your father as per directions given at S.No.-1 above
Mother’s Name: Fill in the name of your mother as per directions given at S.No.-1 above
Date of Birth: Fill in your Date of Birth in YYYY/MM/DD format as given in your certificate of High School / Secondary or any other examinations.
E-mail: Enter your E-mail ID at the space specified for it. OTP will be sent to your E-mail ID which you will have to use for verification of your E-mail ID.
Mobile number: Enter your 10-digit mobile number at the space specified for it. OTP will be sent to your mobile number, which you will have to use for verification of your mobile number.
Gender: Click the appropriate box to mention your gender, Fill this entry carefully.
Nationality: Choose your nationality.
Domicile of Bihar: If candidate is a resident of Bihar, choose ‘Bihar; or ‘Other. If the Candidate is not a resident of Bihar he/she will not get benefits of reservation.
Category: Click before the Reserved or Unreserved category, as applicable. In the Application Form, there is provision for Unreserved, Backward Category, Extremely Backward Category, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Candidates belonging to BC or EBC category and come under Creamy Layer they will not get the benefits of reservation of their category. They will be considered under unreserved category. Applicants are required to mention the category to which he/she belongs. Reservation applicable as per Bihar State Government rules. Candidates from outside Bihar shall fill Unreserved category.
Divyaang : If the applicant belongs to Divyaang Category and wants to take benefit of reservation, in that case, click ‘Yes’ before it. For this, it is essential to upload the relevant certificate in the specified format, issued by the Chief Medical Officer or duly constitution board and after that select sub-category.
Marital Status: Select Married/Unmarried to specify your marital status.
For identification: For identification, applicant mention his/her Aadhar Number/Voter ID No./Driving Licence No./PAN No./Passport No.
Sub-Category: If the applicant wants to avail the benefit of Service Men Quota or Divyaang, he/she must select the relevant category here. It will be essential to present the relevant certificate at the time of counselling. At the time of filling up the application form, upload a copy of the same. Service Man Quota (SMQ) benefits can be availed by son or unmarried daughter only.
Complete Postal Address: For correspondence, applicants mention their name and full postal address at appropriable place.
>Pin Code: Applicants must mention their PIN CODE with their postal address.
Upload: Upload the Marks Sheet of Matric or equivalent. Upload the Marks Sheet of Intermediate or equivalent.
Details of Graduation: Mention the full Marks and aggregate obtained Marks in Bachelor Programme at the specified place. With this, the percentage of marks secured will appear automatically. Upload the Marks Sheet of the Bachelor Programme.
Post-Graduate Programme: Mention the full Marks and Aggregate Marks Secured in the Post-Graduate Programme at the specified place. With this, the percentage of marks secured will appear automatically. Upload the Marks Sheet of the PG Programme.
City Option for Entrance Exam: Applicants have to choose the names of three cities for the entrance test Lalit Narayan Mithila University will allot them a centre on this basis. Candidates will have to accept the Centre allotted by Lalit Narayan Mithila University. It is not compulsory that allotted examination centre would be from the cities chosen by the candidate. Any claim/request to change the test centre will not be accepted.
Declaration: Applicants must read the instructions and declaration carefully. Follow the instructions and must click the declaration.
CET-B.Ed: Please keep in mind that mere filling the application form or appearing in the CET-BEd or qualifying for the test or participating in counselling does not guarantee your admission in the B Ed course. You will be admitted only after verifying all the marks sheets and certificates in original as per eligibility criteria.

Pattern of Entrance Test:
CET-B.Ed.-2022 shall be of two hours duration. Candidates have to answer 120 multiple-choice questions. Each question shall have four expected answers of which they have to select the most appropriate answer and mark them on the OMR sheet provided along with the Question Booklet. Candidate must use blue/black ball pen only to mark the answe on the OMR sheet.
(The Question Booklet shall have 120 objective type questions each carrying one mark. The maximum marks allotted to the Entrance Test is 120. OMR Sheet/Answer Sheet shall be provided for answering the questions.)

Minimum Qualifying Marks for CET-B.Ed. 2022.
For Candidates of Unreserved Category: 35% correspondingly 42 marks.
For SC, ST, BC, EBC, WBC and Divyaang Category Candidates: 30% correspondingly 36 marks.
There is no any Negative Marking.
Bihar Combined Entrance Test 2022 Fee:
The Entrance Test Fee will be
- For General/unreserved candidates - Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand).
- For differently-abled/EBC/BC/Women/EWS - Rs. 750/- (Seven Hundred and Fifty).
- For the SC/ST category candidates - Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred).
The Fee is to be paid through an online payment gateway only. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance(s)
Process of Online Application:
- First Step: Online Registration of the Applicant. In this step Login ID will be created. You have to upload Photo & Signature at in size.
- Second Step: Completing up the Application Form. Fill all enteries with atmost care in this stage, particularly gender, domicile and category.
- Third Step: Payment of CET Fee and taking Print out of the Completed Application Form.
Candidates are required to keep in their safe custody the original Printout/ photocopy of application form for future reference.
Online Registration: (Important Part)
First Step: CET-B.Ed. 2022 application form, please read the instructions carefully.
Registration for New User Account : New applicants have to create the User by clicking on the Registration for New User Account link. It will open the Create User Page.
Create User: Under the Create User page, all fields are mandatory to be filled which are indicated by asterisk (*) mark. Applicant shall enter his/her name exactly as mentioned in 10th Board (Matric) Certificate.
User ID: Applicants who do not have a valid Email ID must create an Email ID before creating new User ID. The applicant must also ensure that the Email ID and password is kept handy and safely for all the future correspondence/reference.
For confirmation of User ID creation, separate OTPs will be sent to your mobile number and Email ID. Use the corresponding OTPs to confirm the new user account.
Application form: Before filling the application form, keep scanned copy of your passport size Photograph and Signature ready with you. Size of scanned Photograph & Signature should be between 20 to 50 kb and in JPG format. Signature should be made only with black ink ball pen.
Upload the Photograph: Upload the Photograph and Signature and proceed to fill the Form.
After completing the Create User Page, click Sign Up button given at the bottom of the Page. Login with the given credentials and change the password for safe future usages.
How to Fill the Application Form?:
Fill the application form carefully. If you have made a payment while filling the application form by making an incorrect entry in Gender, Domicile and Category, then those entries cannot be rectified. In such circumstances, your application form will be considered rejected and you will have to fill a new application form to appear in the entrance test.
Second Step: To complete the application Form: After succeful Registration, candidates are required to fill Online Application Form.
Personal Details: Candidates have to enter their name (both in Hindi and English), Father’s Name, Mother’s Category, Domicile etc. in it. All entries should be made carefully.
Generic Section: Candidates have to mention details of any identity proof like Aadhar Card/Voter ID Card/ Driving Licence /Passport Number.
Address Section: Candidates have to fill up Present Address and Permanent Address in Address Section.
Educational Qualification Section: Here, candidates have to fill marks obtained and full marks of Matriculation, Graduation, Post-Graduation and others (if any) and have to upload a self-attested copy of those Marks Sheets also.
Choose Examination Centre: Here candidates are required to choose the name of the three cities from among the name of the cities given for Examination Centre. In case of non-availability of seat, the Nodal University may not allot any examination centre in the chosen city.
Declaration: Before finishing, check the box given in the Declaration and then click the Submit button With this your application form completes. After that, the Payment Gateway Window will open.
Admit Card: Candidates shall be able to download the Admit Card of CET-B.Ed.-2022 by Login ID and Password on the CET B.Ed.-2022 Website: www.biharcetbed-lnmu.in as per schedule.
